A few steps from the Marmore Falls, bordered by the Nera river,
an ancient house of residence has recently been restored, respecting its history and the environment in which it is located.
Furnished in a sober and functional way, it offers the tourist various solutions of stay: it’s possible to take advantage of entire apartments or large rooms with bathroom, equipped with every comfort. All our rooms have a private entrance, TV, private bathroom with shower and hairdryer.
A room has also been prepared for the needs of disabled people, which can be communicated with other rooms.
The house is located along the Valnerina road, about 5 km from Terni, in a large space that also includes a convenient parking area.
The area of the Marmore Falls makes the stay pleasant for the many experiences that can be lived there. A picturesque and very ancient path winds through the woods, allowing to enjoy extraordinary views of the Nera river, the tanks and the thousand tumbling water falls in which the imposing mass of the main waterfalls breaks. The evocative walk exceeds a height difference of about 165m, reaching the specola, right in front of the thresholds from which the water of the Velino river breaks into the Nera River. You can take guided tours, go rafting, explore the surrounding area by suggestive mountain-bike itineraries.
The geographical position makes it possible to reach places of natural interest in a short time, such as the enchanting Piediluco Lake, an archaeological site, such as the Roman Carsulae, historical, like Narni, Amelia, Spoleto, Cascia.
In the same building you will find the typical restaurant I Ribelli di Campagna, where you can taste the genuine products of the Valnerina, in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
